Literature Text

There are two well-known kingdoms known on Dragos. King Richard’s kingdom and the Kingdom of Saul were both land bound. But no dragon really knew of the presence of a third, sea-bound kingdom. Unless, of course, you were a citizen of the Aqueos Kingdom, you were not fully aware of how dreadful it really was compared to even the scariest of rumours from the Kingdom of Saul. Its citizens were enslaved by a ruthless, dreaded Pirate King that sailed the Great Sea and plundered for his own pleasurable profits.
He may have been the great Pirate King, but he was better known to those who feared him as Captain Darkscales. His children, Pirate Prince d'Artagnan and the beautiful but strong Princess Corinne, were his only heirs. He protected them, but didn't know when to give them their own freedoms. In a way, his children were his prisoners as well.
Princess Corinne gazed out the cabin of her chamber's window. Her glistening blue eyes betrayed her joyful reputation. She'd grown sorrowful during the past three days, since the announcement of her wedding engagement to a dragon she’d never met before. She didn’t even know the name of her soon-to-be husband.
Suddenly, her eyes caught sight of a foreign ship crossing the Great Sea. Princess Corinne sighed. Another day, another plundering for her father, the Pirate King of the Aqueos Kingdom, but that day was different. Little did they know, 'Truthbearer,' was not any old ship. They'd never thought of going head-to-head with DPF Officials...
Yarr!
Don't worry about the French names for the Prince and Princess, because it was French Fiction History that partially inspired the story spin-off. I was also inspired by Rurouni Kenshin with Pirates on the open sea. It does not affect the actual story.
Let's see how this turns out, shall we?
